Branding of the Text

It is difficult to talk about the branding of our artist as she is unknown. However, her style and voice are very similar to that of Ellie Goulding so here is some information about the branding of her.

Brand Essence - Ellie Goulding is branded as a cute, quirky and sweet and all things associated with her match up to these things. Having a brand is essential as if a new and upcoming artist like Megan does not stick to a certain type of branding then they can find themselves in trouble.

Brand Slogan - Ellie Goulding doesn't have a signature logo that everyone recognises as her if they see it, yet we can always notice her through album names and song titles.

Brand Personality - Ellie is branded mainly as cute and original, marketers describe her as having these two main traits.

Brand Values - I think that Ellie Goulding stands for good, honest, innocence and purity. These are her brand values and they are always the same whereas some artists are constantly changing their values.

Brand Appearance - Ellie(just like our artist) looks and sounds pure and innocent.

Brand Heritage - Ellie has been around for around 4 to 5 years whereas Megan is just starting to create her CD so in this respect they are quite different. Ellie has thousands of fans/customers who have been loyal for many years, and Megan does have some but only about 20 at the most.

Emotional Benefits - Both artists have a nice voice that makes you feel happy and very positive when you listen to them.
